It’s so different, all the old members that I had nice conversations here are all gone, all I see are new and unfamiliar faces. Time flies
A lot has happened since your departure. While you enjoyed Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher book series the website discussion page has been transformed from a black tint to a white tint. Most of the older members have stopped coming onto this fandom, while I still visit it from time to time. I would say that this wiki has been asleep since the release of Thronebreaker. Only a spark of interest in the witcher series could flare this fandom up. Or the arrival of a new admin perhaps.
The number of people playing the witcher games has probably dropped which, as you can see, resulted in less people coming onto this website as they see no need to. Which is in some way sad. I also enjoyed in the former wiki. Perhaps now the epidemic is present more people will come.
Holy moly, I thought that you’d never come back. It’s good to see you old friend !
First World Problems
It is great to see you two! The reason I started using this fandom less was because all the people left.
Ha, a surprising reunion indeed !
Not to intrude on this originals reunion, but here's some hope for you. Since the TV series came out, I know there's been more people buying the games (including myself, on chapter 2 of the second game rn) and getting into the books (I bought the first one, have yet to read it though). I think your main issue is that I don't think a lot of these people use this wiki for social media(?). I mean, I didn't realise this was a function until two days ago. Super sorry if I'm breaking any unwritten rules as a result of that.
The fandom is popping off elsewhere though.
Edit: Also I have no idea what I did to make the text look like that, a testament to how much I don't know what I'm doing on here
Hey, I am sorry to jump like this into a conversation. It is all because you seemed to have read about the witcher and I really need help.
This is my first book. I picked this book automatically and I started loving it.
I am reading last wish.
I am stuck at one line and just not able to make sense out of it. Please help me out. It would be very appreciable..
"In explaining the popularity of the goddess, learned men who studied this phenomenon used to hark back to the pre-cults of the Great Mother, Mother Nature, and pointed to the links with nature’s cycle, with the rebirth of life and other grandiloquently named phenomena"
Here hark back to, pre-cuts of great mother, is confusing me alot and this line is not making sense to me..
Anyone I ask around me not able to explain me bcz I somehow not getting its actual meaning so please help me a little here as you guyz seems to be active on the forum...
Actually this line has stopped me right here and its been hours I am looking out for an explanation to understand it.
Thabk you in advance.
I've replied to the previous commentator in her topic.
@Colerate even I don't know how you did the text like that O.o
But yes, while we saw a huge spike in views here when the show got released in December, we didn't see a huge increase in discussions. But at least people are posting (back when it was still using the old forums, almost nobody was posting in those).
What do you think?
