I have been meaning to get the Witcher III for the Switch so I wanted to ask those of you who have it: How good is it in terms of performance, content and gameplay? Does it hold up against the console version? I appreciate any relevant answers!

I always get a feeling that the build which I have for Geralt is not that great and there are much more better builds for him. The answers in online websites are too much in detail. I am interested in Signs+Combat Builds. Any suggestions ??

See my previous post. Well, that aged perfectly.
As the title says, I was blown away by the third season of Netflix's adaption. From the reviews and comments made on the trailer posted online, I assumed that the season was a dumpster fire, but I've always been curious and I knew I wanted to see the third season.
At first, I was a little unimpressed; grateful to see the familiar assortment of characters and the nostalgic settings, which of course were all visually pleasing, but I felt the story, while gloriously spun, was a bit dull and slow. The finale episodes, beginning with the battle of Aretuza, overwhelmed me with some of the most phenomenal displays of acting I've seen in a while, impressive CGI and effects, and a cohesive story that left me satisfied. I was so relieved to see Dara with his 0.9 seconds of screen time, but I digress.
However, the best part of this season, and what I've been getting at this entire time is that Princess Cirila is and always will be the heart of the show. Her powers this season have blew me away entirely, and her progression is brilliant and so very realistic. While stranded, I felt enchanted by her actresses abilities when alone on screen, and realized the talents of others had been somewhat dulling her own. Her emotional and mental development was insane, completely off the charts, and she is such a badass fighter in a lot of aspects.
If any viewers didn't respect or adore her then, the writers behind the show made sure to enamor the audience now.
What this means for Princess Cirilla and her future
However, the final moments of Episode 8, "The Cost of Chaos" proved that the now severely changed Ciri is strong-willed and stoic, both induced from her trauma of being stranded alone for so long and taunted by visions, tortured and grieved with so much loss and death. While she suffered this, she seemed almost a more competent fighter (if possible) and more disciplined than before what she experienced.
This was displayed in the image below, taken at the exact same I believe Ciri felt the tenderness of the sun caressing her golden locks and figured that she could no longer relish in the sweetness of things like that. For the time being, at least.
Singlehandedly one of the most visually and aesthetically pleasing shots of the show, the image is heavy with meaning and I can absolutely feel what Ciri feels. However, the name she now assumes, Falka, implies this feat of silent rage may not have been hers, but the fallen princess's display instead, possibly from possession, as we saw the Deathless Mother do with Ciri in the also monumental second season.
Though this might seem a little redundant, it works well for her character. I believe she's still her, but feels that Falka is right about her views and that she must take control on her own before others do.
Love or hate the show, for what it is worth, you have to give credit to everyone involved when credit is due, because is it deserved this time around. Well done to the writers, cast, and crew. Absolutely magical, and I bite my nails in anticipation of the next chapter for Ciri, and the whole world of Witcher. I've loved this show since I first saw it, and I'm so happy that this is finally paying off.
I hope you all enjoyed the read as much as I did writing it!! Signing off.
So I have questions about Vilgefortz plan cause it’s really creepy and confusing.
Why does Vilgefortz want to artificially impregnate Ciri, who is like 12 from what I’m told. How is he going to get her powers that way?
Why did he specially choose impregnating females to get Ciri’s powers?
Doesn’t females can only use powers of the Elder Blood? How can Vilgefortz’s use this power if he is not women?
Is it true that the idea of Ciri being bisexual was debunked? I remember reading a reddit post about Ciri’s relationship with Mistle and some of the comments said that Ciri being bisexual is debunked due to Ciri’s situation with the rats.
Side note: I wanted to make it clear that I did not read the books but only played the games.

Can someone dumb down adrenaline for me? I've read that you get it by striking an enemy I guess or killing them? I don't understand if it makes your attacks stronger or if it's supposed to be used for some kind of ability? Please help.

I just read Chapter 9 of Lady of the Lake and wtf! What I am more confused about is wth is left to be told in the following 3 chapters. First of all, this has to be the single best chapter in all of the saga but I cannot believe the death toll in this chapter. Even though it was the longest chapter yet, it still felt like too much info. Checklist:
Milva, Cahir, Angloume, Regis all died?! Like wtf. Having played the game, I knew some of them will die but not all of them! Also how can Regis survive something like that to appear later in DLC? Imma ignore that.
Bonhart that evil mf got what he deserved however I expected Geralt would battle him at least once before he died. Still pretty satisfying.
Vilgefortz should have been killed off later but he too got the sword in this one.
Finally, Emperor revealed himself to be Duny as well and wtf he wants to bang his own daughter?!
Anyways the point is too much happened in this chapter and I couldn't resist processing it by posting it here. I cannot process whether to be sad about Hanza's demise or to be happy about the trio reuniting or to be relieved that those two evil pieces of shit got what they deserved. Its just too much. What a massive payoff this chapter was after all those lengthy and frustrating chapters. I want to experience this live man and I hope Netflix mends its ways and make that happen satisfyingly.

I recently read a rumor about a new Witcher game with a character creator and I wanted to discuss this with you guys. I think it would be a nice change to have our own protagonists as the Witcher, completing contracts on the Path. It is my belief that such a change would bring a breath of fresh air into the world of the Witcher, making it a unique experience for everyone. That said, it might be a difficult concept to execute, as it could make the story less interesting in a way, since the characters we already know might not be directly connected to the plot. An interesting idea, nonetheless.
I recently started plying the witcher again and im trying to get to skellige but i have to pay a guy 1000 crowns to ride on a boat. im doing as many quests as i can but im not getting enough coins.

Now I know that girls weren't really able to undergo the trials to become witchers but theoretically imagine these exceptions.
1 witchers we're able to still be made
2 That if allowed ciri would have been able to u dergo the trials
Would she acctually choose to do it? I'm pretty curious.
I was reading through the wiki… bored I guess… and according to the wiki page on him, The original King of the Aen Elle, King Auberon, was Lara Dorren's father!
Doesn’t that mean that any of his children, regardless of blood purity, have the power of the Elder Blood??
That means that there must be several more people in the universe that have this power, right?? He lived for hundreds of years, perhaps thousands of years. And only had one child? Doubtful in my opinion.
Just finished the base game today
200+ hours
What a game!
Now for the expansions!!!
Does anyone know what book the characters Nivellen and Vereena appeared in? Their story arc really interested me when watching season 2 of The Witcher on Netflix.
With the quest to kill the final Crone, is there a way I can get the quest after I’ve completed full campaign and everything or can I only get it during the campaign
Can anyone tell me what that centipede creature from Witcher S2 ep3 was? The one that killed the leshen. I’ve never seen it before. 🧐
