The Witcher series

I want your objective opinions no matter how you feel about the show. Do you think that if it was completely original story that just took some inspirations from The Witcher instead of being semi adaptation, do you think it would've been good?

So I've been wondering what a good age to read The Witcher books would be, anyone who has read them, any advice?

Ever since watching the series first season, I have had a problem with the portrayal of the doppler. Nowhere in the books or games is there a doppler that acts like a psychopath. For me that character was the first clear demonstration of how the showrunners were abandoning the source material. Was anyone else annoyed by the way the doppler was portrayed?

Recently I posted something and thanks for the one liker (??🥲🤣🤣 nah kidding) but hey I’m new and I just started reading The Witcher and I’m currently in 😍😍😍😍 with it! Can’t wait to meet you all (if y’all do that) but yeah... if you’re interested in knowing, I’m originally from the Throne of Glass fandom (throne of glass written by Sarah J Maas👌🏽) and I’m actually not very active there.. idk. But yeah there’s my lil bio and I’m looking forward to well uh idk but yeah thanks for reading.

Ps. I’m also an Aussie and that’s how far I’ll go in my ethnicity... 👁👄👁 and because y’all asked I am absolutely in love with Geralt of Rivia and I’ve heard that the series wasn’t even half as good as the books and that’s just not scux at all 😩
