I want your objective opinions no matter how you feel about the show. Do you think that if it was completely original story that just took some inspirations from The Witcher instead of being semi adaptation, do you think it would've been good?

I always get a feeling that the build which I have for Geralt is not that great and there are much more better builds for him. The answers in online websites are too much in detail. I am interested in Signs+Combat Builds. Any suggestions ??

Can someone dumb down adrenaline for me? I've read that you get it by striking an enemy I guess or killing them? I don't understand if it makes your attacks stronger or if it's supposed to be used for some kind of ability? Please help.

I just read Chapter 9 of Lady of the Lake and wtf! What I am more confused about is wth is left to be told in the following 3 chapters. First of all, this has to be the single best chapter in all of the saga but I cannot believe the death toll in this chapter. Even though it was the longest chapter yet, it still felt like too much info. Checklist:
Milva, Cahir, Angloume, Regis all died?! Like wtf. Having played the game, I knew some of them will die but not all of them! Also how can Regis survive something like that to appear later in DLC? Imma ignore that.
Bonhart that evil mf got what he deserved however I expected Geralt would battle him at least once before he died. Still pretty satisfying.
Vilgefortz should have been killed off later but he too got the sword in this one.
Finally, Emperor revealed himself to be Duny as well and wtf he wants to bang his own daughter?!
Anyways the point is too much happened in this chapter and I couldn't resist processing it by posting it here. I cannot process whether to be sad about Hanza's demise or to be happy about the trio reuniting or to be relieved that those two evil pieces of shit got what they deserved. Its just too much. What a massive payoff this chapter was after all those lengthy and frustrating chapters. I want to experience this live man and I hope Netflix mends its ways and make that happen satisfyingly.
I recently read a rumor about a new Witcher game with a character creator and I wanted to discuss this with you guys. I think it would be a nice change to have our own protagonists as the Witcher, completing contracts on the Path. It is my belief that such a change would bring a breath of fresh air into the world of the Witcher, making it a unique experience for everyone. That said, it might be a difficult concept to execute, as it could make the story less interesting in a way, since the characters we already know might not be directly connected to the plot. An interesting idea, nonetheless.
On my second play through, i romanced Triss instead of Yen this time because i wanted to last time but messed up also enjoyed simping for Yen. IT BROKE ME TO SAY THE MAGIC IS GONE, because i Was having 2nd thoughts about the whole romance thing but already had the lighthouse scene with triss and knew i was too far gone and had to bite the bullet and suffer with my choices to not lose them both, only Yen.
Yall have a similar experience?
This woman is a goddess incarnate if I have ever seen one. She can bend time and space to her will but she doesn’t understand how to do that fully. She’s likely powerful enough to reverse gravity and levitate her empire for the rest of eternity and not break a sweat. It’s a pity that no one one could have helped her understand her full capabilities and they blocked them.

I would love it if, the books could continue considering they never tie up loose ends, like the ciri prophecy.....
Recently I posted something and thanks for the one liker (??🥲🤣🤣 nah kidding) but hey I’m new and I just started reading The Witcher and I’m currently in 😍😍😍😍 with it! Can’t wait to meet you all (if y’all do that) but yeah... if you’re interested in knowing, I’m originally from the Throne of Glass fandom (throne of glass written by Sarah J Maas👌🏽) and I’m actually not very active there.. idk. But yeah there’s my lil bio and I’m looking forward to well uh idk but yeah thanks for reading.
Ps. I’m also an Aussie and that’s how far I’ll go in my ethnicity... 👁👄👁 and because y’all asked I am absolutely in love with Geralt of Rivia and I’ve heard that the series wasn’t even half as good as the books and that’s just not scux at all 😩
And admins or mods (idk who u are) but FYI if this isn’t allowed (I haven’t see any posts like this) feel free to lock or delete this. 👍🏽
Over the past few months I've worked on a fancast for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including the DLC's.. I based it on actors and actresses who either had similar roles before, or bear a similarity in appearance to the character.
I've posted the fancast on my Instagram, all.things.witcher_ (previously whitewolf_of.rivia).
Okay, I’ve been thinking, if I romanced Triss and rejected Yennefer, will Triss be at Kaer Morhen before the Isle of Mist quest is completed?
So, I’ve completed the task of siding with Dijkstra and planning the assassination of Radovid. I also found Thaler for him. At what point does that story pick up again? Later on, like maybe a couple hours, after Id done some stuff on Skellige, I went back to Dijkstra and there was no option to bring it up, same with Roche. Is there anything further to that story?

So the question is, how can Geralt sleep around with so many women yet romancing both Triss and Yennefer causes them both to dump him?
Well it's pretty simple, its because there is no commitment to all of the other women he sleeps with. With Triss and Yennefer, however, it's not an option as he commits to a permanent relationship with both which results in both getting very angry at him. He never commits to any of the other girls, the closest he gets to crossing the line is with Shani. Geralt actually seems ready to commit to Shani while romancing her, however, she herself decides against it as she remembers how it ended last time. But if it were possible then obviously Triss or Yennefer would not be happy.
However, commitment or not he is still cheating right? So question is do they or do they not know? And if they know do they or do they not care?
Answer is, yes they know and no they don't care.
They just don't, in fact Geralt's cheating is considered a joke by everyone including Triss, Yennefer and even Ciri.
In The Witcher 1 when romancing Triss, she will mention that she is aware that Geralt had other women and that she is not jealous at all.
During "The Great Escape" Geralt questions why Yennefer is not angry at him for going with Ciri to face Imlerith. To which she replies, that if he had died they would not have this conversation and that "the female half of the population of the continent would be drowning in tears".
During "Payback" Geralt will go with Ciri to meet Bea who will be clearly smitten by Geralt and vice-versa, thus forcing Ciri to remind them she is right next to them.
Near the end of the game the lodge will even openly discuss the fact that most of the women present on the ship are ones that slept with Geralt and Philippa will remark that Margarita will soon join the club.
Finally we have to remember that both Triss and Yennefer can and have been reading Geralt's mind, thus if they cared about him sleeping around then they would have dumped him long ago.
