Supposedly the creative director (Or whatever his name is) said he is not going to let that happen. But like half of the team has worked on the Witcher 3, and some of them have been working on the Witcher series for 10 years. So there will be an easter egg without a doubt. But no sidequest.

I personally picked sorceress because I think it would be an interesting shake up to the series. Though, the more I think about it the more I would prefer Ciri or custom character. I am sure the next Witcher game could be gigantic with multiple branches stemming off from each other. The 3 different outcomes of your version of Ciri could be played out. I would love to try that. Or with a custom character we could see a ton of different branches just based off your school alone. I would not be opposed to any of these though.
