Stanza di Triss is like being transported completely from the crumbling fortress to a luxurious alpine castle. I suppose a maga requires certain necessities of life. It boasts spectacular views of Valle di Kaer Morhen in several directions and the best bed in Kaedwen apparently, the site of Geralt's first sexual encounter of the game. This last event starting things off rather nicely.
