A Crayfisherman's Reminiscences is a book in Blood and Wine expansion.

It can be found in the fishing hut southeast of The Cockatrice Inn, where Geralt and Milton de Peyrac-Peyran first go to look for the third victim's body at the start of The Beast of Toussaint, and it recounts the same witness testimony that they hear from the fisherman at the inn. However, the hut is locked until quest completion and cannot be obtained at that point.

Journal entry[]

Here's how I recall it:
I wake up at the crack of dawn, as always, but then I looked up - and beheld a blood red sky. I think to myself - that there's an ill omen.
I light my pipe, hunt down some bread, then pull on my galoshes and head to the water. It's cool out, so I think, maybe I should go fetch a thicker jacket. But I don't, for it's getting warmer already, the sun being out now. But the sky, it's still blood red... An ill omen.
Once I get by the water, I look, and there caught up in the nets is a human head. It was already bright, so I could see it staring at me, all bug eyed.
I look around, not a living soul to be seen. So I shoot off to town, to fetch the Guard.
I stand there, watching them gather up the bits, and I think to myself, the Beast's done this, sure as day.
That's how it was.
