Spoilers from the books and/or adaptations to follow!
A Knight to Remember is an achievement in Blood and Wine expansion and can be missed if one advances too far in the main storyline (starting Capture the Castle will fail the quest if not completed by then).
After fighting the Shaelmaar during The Beast of Toussaint, you'll automatically be given the secondary quest The Warble of a Smitten Knight. Go speak to Guillaume de Launfal and agree to enter the tournament under any name.
You must then complete and win 4 competitions:
- Horse race
- Shooting contest
- Arena fight
- Beat Gregoire de Gorgon
Additionally, at one point during the competition you'll be approached by one of the knights (joust if using Geralt, fistfight if Ravix) but you don't need to win this. Then, once you've uncovered Vivienne's secret, no matter if you tell Guillaume or not, you'll be asked if you want to continue the tourney. You must say you will and finish it out.
Tips
- It's easiest to do this on a lower difficulty when possible
- Make sure to create a manual save sometime while following the bird, as the quest will start to jump between events and not allow for a break to save beforehand.
- Some have reported still getting this achievement even if they lost to Gregoire.
