Adalbert Vunsch was a Nordling mage and alchemist interested in stories, discoveries and Gwent. He disliked the Skelligers and admired Birna for an attempt at civilizing them.
Biography[]
Adalbert was born at some point prior 1270s. In 1272, he reportedly visited the rock where Birna was chained, in order to witness and document her "noble suffering". Alas, a gust tore a scroll from his hand and slapped her across the face, which Adalbert much regretted.
Decades later, he became a storyteller and enjoyed explaining the lore behind Gwent cards. His words should not always be taken as a fact however, as he was not above inserting himself into the events in which he did not partake, such as the Battle of Kaer Morhen.
