Aedireen, the granddaughter of Prince Venger, was a duchess of Vengerberg and later the queen of Aedirn in the 10th century.
Biography
Through wars and treaties, she extended the borders of her duchy to include all the territories between Mahakam to the west and the Blue Mountains to the east save for Dol Blathanna, reshaping it into a kingdom.[1]
Facing the threat of Redanian attack, King Viduka of Kaedwen asked Aedireen for help and promised her Lormark in exchange. Together they swiftly defeated the Redanians and Viduka grudgingly fulfilled the promise. However, as it's a fabulously fertile land, this has soured relations between the two realms, resulting in many wars throughout the following centuries.[2]
