Arachas mutagens is an alchemy ingredient in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and is used to make arachas decoction. They act like lesser green mutagens when placed in the diamond-shaped slots in the character panel.
Like all special mutagens they can only be dropped by their corresponding monsters, which (counterintuitively) in this case are venomous arachasae. There are a few of them spread throughout the world:
- Northwest of the Druids' Camp on Ard Skellig
- Harrisi during Contract: Missing Brother
- In a side room inside the Ancient Crypt during the main quest The Sunstone
- The "arachas" encountered during Contract: Skellige's Most Wanted is also venomous, but mislabeled
- In the cave where the treasure hunt quest Hidden in the Depths takes place on Faroe
- In the Hearts of Stone expansion, one is above the Bloodrot Pit, and all three arachasae variations can be encountered near Heddel's cemetery
Notes[]
- In an undocumented change for Patch 1.08, all mutagen icons were changed. However, there was still a bug for those on Steam and Origin that didn't reflect this and was later fixed in Patch 1.22. Despite this, some may still see the original icons instead, even with a fully patched game.
