Balbina the Goose is a goose that lays golden eggs and resides within the Land of a Thousand Fables. As the illusion's stability started to wear off, Balbina was kidnapped and held in a cage. However, before she was captured Balbina got a notice posted on the local notice board, asking for protection. Although no one applied before she was captured, the notice eventually led to her rescue by Geralt of Rivia.
If rescued: grateful for being rescued, she then laid a golden egg as Geralt's reward before making her way home.
- She's based on the goose from the English fairy tale, Jack and Beanstalk.
- Her name's a reference to the old Polish cartoon Różne przygody Gąski Balbinki (English: The Adventures of Balbina the Goose).
