Bartolomé de Launay was the owner of Villa Vedette, a villa in Toussaint, and also an armorer. In 1274, the count made a deal with the witcher Lexandre for the witcher to give the count Grandmaster Feline Gear diagrams in exchange for the count crafting him a full set of ducal armor and giving him a sack of coins. When they met they were both killed by Antoine Straggen at the Arthach Palace, who the Count had originally hired to protect him.
