Since Curse and Fandom joined forces, we are two platforms and one wiki host. To unite communities on both platforms, Project Crossover was created.
Project Crossover aims to bring communities together and rather than harming each others' visitors, editors and web traffic, help them join forces and work for a common goal. We have had several notable successes thus far, including crossing over the Fallout wiki (GP to Fandom) and Warcraft wiki (Fandom to GP).
So, I'd like to know how all of you here feel about uniting with Gamepedia's Witcher community. If you decide to join forces, the Gamepedia wiki would be archived, preserving its content for reference, reuse, and importing, but will no longer be open for editing. A banner will also be placed…
Just a curious question is it coincidence that the Yennefer in Witcher 3 looks so much like Elizabeth Hurley? If Elizabeth Hurley had Dark hair I think they would almost be identical. Has anyone else noticed that resemblance?
The Witcher 3: What they could've done for the "Reason of State" quest + how they could've included Iorveth
Well, to start off with, I wasn’t a fan of the whole "Reason of State" quest. I dislike having to choose between blatantly condemning Roche to death or having a Nilfgaardian victory. The whole thing seemed a bit lazy. Another thing is that Iorveth could potentially fit in quite well with assassination plot, and although I initially dismissed his absence as being justified given that he’d have no role in the game, I’ve come round to thinking that he could actually fit quite well - if things were done differently.
First off, the assassination plot itself. I think they definitely could’ve included Iorveth here. Given Radovid's witch hunt of anything not strictly human, it’s only logical that the Scoia'tael would consider him an enemy and seek …
Somebody tell me where ei can find the meaning for all this symbols?
Random bit of information I use to help out and contribute to the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Wiki back in day when I nerded all over those games (mostly Oblivion) 24/7 and I am hoping one day to be able to do the same on here too once I get back into the swing of things.
I have played The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings back in day a little didn't get into the swing of this series until The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which I have played over and over again as well as the DLC both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine but I am not a expert by any means but I hope to be one day.
I am looking into getting the books soon to expand my knowledge on the lore and everything it has to offer as well as browsing this site with the use of the random page to keep me up and…
I drank pickle potion and got a cool necklace, and other highlights from The Witcher Fan Experience & Screening!
If you were in Los Angeles on Tuesday, you could “enter the Continent”... which I did! The Witcher Fan Experience was pretty awesome, followed by the even more amazing screening of the first episode. If you’re worried about spoilers, don’t be - this is a spoiler-free post. But at the end, I will be giving my impressions of the episode, so jump there if that’s what you want, or be sure to stop scrolling when you get there, depending on how you roll with those things.
Overall, I drank Witcher potion and Witcher water, ate Witcher pretzels and Witcher popcorn, listened to Witcher music, took Witcher photos, and enjoyed the first episode of… what’s the show called again? It was definitely an immersive experience!
I got there an hour early and was a b…

The World of The Witcher, incarnations of which are becoming hard to count in one sentence, is rich. Even though designed mostly as a decoration for the story, Andrzej Sapkowski`s typewriter has made it live its own life. Vibrant descriptions of the lands and their histories give a background and authentication to the heroes – and the other way around, myriad of heroes and foes from the Saga and stories give a temper to the Continent they inhabit.
Up to 2013 it seemed that this world was relatively known – a couple of maps existed and despite mistakes they allowed the reader or game…
- Created new Block Quote template and class to use for book excerpts and conversations between characters.
- The old BigQuote template is now the new Quote template and the old Quote template is gone. This will hopefully make the naming more clear that "Quote" is for regular ones and the "Block Quote" is for larger amounts of text.
- The Price template has now been removed as it's better to just add infoboxes to the pages instead
- The SpoilerBanner main quote has been changed to white for more consistency with others, like the Stub template.
- the sorting arrows for tables have now been changed to be the same color as the text headers
- the Back To Top button should now reflect its final appearance (light blue with black arrow). It's semi-transparent unl…
This may or may not become a thing, but I wanted to start documenting site changes just to get an idea of any major changes we've done. So, here we go:
- a little over a week ago, rolled out a slight change to infoboxes that now includes a border and a little extra padding. Also got rid of the weird blue vertical line that appeared when using smart groups on infoboxes.
- updated infoboxes so now all names start with "Infobox".
- For select infoboxes, added in the "caption" option that should be the caption in game. This includes the Gwent Cards and items in all 3 games.
- Finished merging game item infoboxes so each game has just 1 infobox for items: Item1, Item2, and Item3. No more "Potion3" or "Diagram2" infoboxes!
- added a "Bottom To Top" button that…
Reading through the entire series at the moment (yes even the only tangibly related ones like Something Ends, Something Begins and The Road of No Return), and I just need to say; I feel you, Geralt. Season of Storms, Chapter Eleven - Sorel's mind-numbing expositionary drawl, I felt like I was going through the white scorpion's poison too. Christ.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the latest entry in the cyberpunk stealth-action game franchise, launches on August 23, and Fandom has partnered with publisher Square Enix to launch a Wikia-wide community activity themed around mechanical augmentation.
We have received your submissions and Geralt of Rivia has been mechanically augmented. Presenting: Augeralt!
- 1 step 1: first of all, go to white orchard bridge, then go to the dwarf armorer (you have to complete his quest before doing it)
- 2 step 2: go north-left until you reach an old house
- 3 step 3: search near the house a bee-hive, and aard it.
- 4 step 4: aard the bee hive until it reaches the armorer. he shall die from it
- 5 step 5: meditate one hour, wake up, repit
- 6 step 6: when the dwarf's
bodies are many, aard away the beehive and take the loot from the

CD Projekt RED is drawing close to completing the long-awaited Heart of Stone expansion, which is due in October. That little tidbit was captured at PAX, which is happening in Seattle right now. During another panel, senior writer Jakub Szamalek mentioned that there is "some good news for Gwent players coming up". That presumably doesn't include a much-asked-for standalone edition of the game, as when asked about that Szamalek said he'd talk to his colleagues about it. No, this "good news" about Gwent must mean something else.
Wikia and CD Projekt RED are partnering together at PAX Prime 2015 for a variety of The Witcher themed events! Attendees this year can take part in the frantic Scavenger Hunt, or test their knowledge of The Witcher series in Pop-Qwiz events. Participants of these events have the chance to win prizes!

Just to be clear, I'm only refering to the epilogue playthrough, and not the slideshow afterwards. I can honestly say that each of the endings of The Witcher 3 were great from a narrative stand-point. They all hit the right emotional buttons and I feel like each is a decent finale to the series that I can believe any one of them to be the ending to Witcher series.
So from a narrative stand-point, which ending do you thing was best for the series.
We take a quick trip through some of the highlights of Geralt's journey through the enormous world of The Witcher 3. All aboard!

Powered by CD Projeckt RED's REDengine – and helped along the way by NVIDIA GameWorks technology – it boasts an absolutely enormous and beautiful world, and while the meat of the game is all about quests and battles against huge, vicious monsters, you can also take your time to appreciate the detailed and varied scenery.
Of course, it packs some pretty high system requirements, but the good news is that if you've decided that now's the time to bring your GPU up to date, you can get a free copy of The Witcher 3 with …

Just in from The Game Awards, CD Projekt RED announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have a new playable character. While focusing on titular character Geralt of Rivia, the trailer below supposedly hints who this new character may be.
Most of the characters remain unnamed, but Ciri is mentioned by name, described as having Elder Blood and being hunted. She could, however, just be a story focus, and so there are other unnamed characters to consider. There's the poor soul at the beginning, two women shown (Ciri and maybe Yennefer?) and another unidentified man standing with Geralt near the end.
What's your take? Any guesses?
