Burnita was a accomplice of Vilgefortz of Roggeveen.
Biography[]
Burnita stood amid an angry mob that rejected the Mages, holed up in the Giancardi Bank.
When Yennefer arrived, the mob directed their anger toward her, and after Yen spotted what she thought was Vilgefortz. With Yen distracted by the fake, Keira, along with Giancardi, open the gateway to the bank to allow Yen to enter; however, Burnita suggests they kill them. The proclamation causes a person in the mob to fatally stab Keira and slam Giancardi into the gateway door, squashing him to death.
After Yen leaves the mage, who she refused his offer to join Vilgefortz's side, she encounters Burnita, who also tries to convince her to join Vilgefortz's side, but Yen instead knocks her out cold.
Afterward, Burnita is gagged and bound to a chair somewhere inside the Giancardi Bank. Rita, Triss, Sabrina, and Yen soon enter the room. Triss recognizes Burnita as one of their own. Ungagged, Burnita shouts that they all don't stand a chance against Vilgefortz, and despite being admonished by her peers, Yen begins using coercive magic to probe Burnita's mind in an attempt to locate Vilgefortz.
However, hours pass, and Yen is no closer to finding Vilgefortz's location, and all she has to show for it are visions of flashing monoliths. Although Yen proposed probing deeper, Rita stopped her and told Yen that Tiss had once done the same to try to locate her.
So, with her peers channeling their energy through Yen, she tries again, but Vilgefortz interrupts the channeling by mind controlling Burnita. Through her, he offers Yen to join him, but she rejects it, and so Vilgefortz severs the connections and kills Burnita by frying her brain, causing her eyes to burst.
