Depicted on his body is a sword which further strengthens the idea that he is an aggressive man who is more prone to action that planning unlike Francis or Sigi. He is straight talking and is prone to using vulgar and aggressive language. |

Carlo Varese also known as "Cleaver" is located in Novigrad and is one of the four main crime bosses of the city alongside Francis Bedlam, Whoreson junior and Sigi Reuven.
