This unnamed clerk was a Toussaintois merchant and temporary steward of Villa Vedette, and was also a devote worshipper of Lebioda.
Biography[]
Bartolomé's dissapearance[]
In 1275, after the owner of Villa Vedette, Count Bartolomé de Launay, was classified as missing, the clerk was assigned by the treasury minister of Beauclair to serve as a temporary caretaker of Launay's estates and properties. After arriving however, he discovered the estate had fallen into disrepair and he was captured by bandits who had taken up residence there.
If Geralt seeks out the estate: not long after, the witcher Geralt of Rivia travelled to the property in search of armor diagrams he had heard news about. He found and killed the bandits, and the clerk told him his story, before continuing to look after the estate.
