Coinneach Dá Reo (d. 1268) was an elven leader of a Scoia'tael commando,[1] and later, a Nilfgaardian officer and one of the leaders of the elven Vrihedd Brigade. After the Peace of Cintra, for his affiliation with the brigade, he was hanged at Fort Drakenborg, although prior was present at the execution of Angus Bri Cri and Riordain in Dillingen.[2]
Biography[]
In August 1267, while travelling along the southern borders of Brokilon with his commando to go support their fellow Scoia'tael, he was approached by Milva, who was on the trail of Geralt south toward Ceann Treise. After quickly discussing plans, they were joined by Toruviel and Ciaran aep Dearbh, who explained how dire their situation was, though Milva disagreed, stating their support for Emperor Emhyr's conquest of Brugge would result in the later betrayal of the nonhumans, along with their persecution. Coinneach then attempted to convince her to seek refuge from the storm and remain in Brokilon, though the huntress declined and left them.[1]
