La Guevre was a Temerian politician and count who served as the Minister of Culture in the 1260s under the reign of King Foltest.

During their time at the court in Vizima, Phillip and Anna Strenger became dear friends of the count.

In 1265, he sent them a book titled The Natural Obscurity of Curses, written by sorceress Lydia van Bredevoort, as a gift.
