Cridam is a village in eastern Lyria, located to the south of Dravograd.

History

The village is famous for a mage named Cornelius the White who lived there. Following a conflict with town elders, he was forced to escape with haste. Before fleeing, however, he first hid his entire fortune in a nearby crevasse. Aware other residents would seek the treasure for themselves, he put a D'ao in place of a guard to protect it.

In 1267, Queen Meve visisted the village and found that the commander from the nearby garrison was there trying to gather men, as many had deserted the garrison. Meve had the choice whether to make a speech, press the townsmen into her army or raise the soldiers' salary.
