It is named for the division of the same name of the 3rd Nilfgaardian Army, commanded by Colonel Liam aep Muir Moss.[1]
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings[]
The sword Deithwen can be looted from one of the skeletons near a ruined wagon, a short distance past the entrance to the caves east of Loc Muinne. It is guarded by two arachas.
In Roche's path of Chapter III, a second copy of the sword appears in a cave by the forest path where Geralt can escort Brigida through during the quest Crown Witness.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt[]
Deithwen returns as a silver sword in the third game.
It can be found as random loot, during a few quests noted below, or in a chest tucked behind the first aard-able obstacle during The Final Trial (but not really part of the quest).
Associated quests[]
- Sunken Chest
- In Wolf's Clothing (reward for lifting the curse off Morkvarg)
- Contract: The White Lady (on the remains of The White Lady)
- Master Armorers (in the chest with high-quality smithing tools)
