Deithwen ("white flame" in Elder Speech) was a division of lancers of the 3rd Nilfgaardian Army commanded by Colonel Liam aep Muir Moss. Both Deithwen and the heavy division, Ard Feainn, reported to Field marshal Coehoorn. The unit took part in the Battle of Brenna, where he charged together with the Ard Feainn Division on the right flank of the Northern army.
