Delayed Recovery is an ability in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the Alchemy tree.
Description[]
Patch 4.0 change: the percents below prior to the patch were originally 90%, 80%, and 70% respectively.
Level 1:
- Potion effects don't wear off until potion Toxicity falls to 85% of the maximum level.
- Potion duration time: +5%
Level 2:
- Potion effects don't wear off until potion Toxicity falls to 70% of the maximum level.
- Potion duration time: +10%
Level 3:
- Potion effects don't wear off until potion Toxicity falls to 55% of the maximum level.
- Potion duration time: +15%
Tips[]
- The skill does not affect decoctions but only regular potions.
- The skill also does not take toxicity caused by decoctions into account as it's considered "toxicity offset" rather than toxicity. In fact drinking a decoction/s will prevent this skill from taking effect as the threshold must be reached through regular toxicity (one that drops on it's own over time) in order to take effect.
- This is possibly the only skill/effect where the difference between toxicity offset and normal toxicity is taken into account.
- The skill works poorly with Acquired Tolerance as increasing the toxicity pool will make it harder to reach the required threshold.
