Diamond is a valuable in The Witcher.
Uses[]
- The Gossip in Chapter II will accept either red gloves or a diamond for a sexual encounter.
- The clerk at the town hall takes diamonds as gifts in return for sexual favours.
- The druids in the cave in the swamp cemetery will exchange this gem for potions.

- You can win a diamond from Zoltan Chivay in your first drinking contest with him.
- In a trunk from the Lionhead Spider Cultists' lair.
- You can buy it from a merchant in front of the Gamblers' den in Trade Quarter for 120 orens.
- There is also a quest diamond (Gramps' diamond) in Chapter IV, but it can not be sold and looks entirely different.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt[]
Diamond is a crafting component. It is not needed to craft anything but can be dismantled into diamond dust.
It can be found as random loot, guaranteed during a few treasure hunt quests in Toussaint, or purchased from the following merchants:
- All armorers and blacksmiths, except the one at Ardaiso Quarry
- Armors and weapons merchants in Nilfgaardian Army Group 'Center' Camp
- Merchant in the boatyard south of Refugees' Camp
- Merchant at Calveit Watchtower
- Merchant at Coast of Wrecks
- Merchant in Ursten
- Merchant by the road west of White Eagle Fort
- Merchant at the sawmill northeast of Rannvaig
- Merchant at the Isolated Hut on Hindarsfjall
- Merchant in Mohrin Village
- Merchant in Stacheier
- Ofieri merchant at Upper Mill
