Diana de Saint-Villiers was a Temerian noblewoman who became the wife of King Heribert the Quarrelsome. She was the mother of Vizimir II.
Heribert secretly married her against his father's will and when he succeeded to the throne, he was asked to divorce Diana in favor of marrying a princess, but the new king refused. The clerk then decided to note on official documents that their marriage was to then be a morganatic one - that is to say Diana and any children she had with Heribert wouldn't be able to inherit the throne. However Diana skillfully made the mark about the marriage being morganatic into a mere mark with no meaning on the dusty and forgotten document and the couple's son took over without any problems when Heribert passed on.[1]
