The Duppa is a river in Redania.[1]
History[]
According to a ballad wrongly attributed to Dandelion, the river is famous for a princess named Vanda, who threw herself into this river because no one wanted her.[2]
Trivia[]
- This tale is most likely a reference to a popular Polish legend about Princess Wanda who threw herself into the Vistula river. Depending to the source, she either wanted to avoid an unwanted marriage to a German prince or to thank pagan gods for the victory over his army.
- The word dupa translates to "butt" in Polish.
