Erlenwald is a forest region to the south of the Northern Kingdom of Cintra, north of the Marnadal Stairs.
History[]
It was in this forest that Duny saved Roegner and was promised "that which the king found but did not expect when he returned home". Some time later, Duny proclaimed himself as "Urcheon of Erlenwald" and seized control over some castle and nearby in the area. Erlenwalders seemingly knew his cursed nature as they tried to expel a witcher who wanted to talk with him.[1]
