Errdil was an elf living in the Redanian city of Rinde, having moved there with his quiet, taciturn wife and his cousin Chireadan. He bought an inn, intending to renovate it, however, when Yennefer attempted to capture a djinn by luring it to the inn, the inn was destroyed in the ensuing fight. Luckily for Errdil, he had the place well insured before it was destroyed.
