Essi Daven is a bard from Bremervoord, who grew up with Jaskier and was like a sister to him.
Biography[]
Essi grew up in the coastal town of Bremervoord. She was friends with the outsider Julian, who would later become famous as Dandelion, and stood up for him when Zelest and other children teased him about his musical taste. Although she was generally considered unmusical as a child, she became a bard as an adult.
At an Imbaelk celebration in her hometown, Essi reunites with Jaskier after many years, as they were both hired as musicians for the festival. Essi also meets Jaskier's friend, Geralt of Rivia.
