This article is about the shrines in The Witcher. For the shrine in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, see Eternal Fire shrine (Novigrad). |
There are five Eternal Fire shrines which encircle the village in the outskirts of Vizima. It is there that Geralt must place the five Holy flames given to him by the Reverend in order to earn his trust. The Reverend believes that this act will drive away the Beast. Despite Geralt's assertions to the contrary, the deal is struck and it is around we go, at night, of course.
The shrines are spread around the entire outskirts area. There is:
- one shrine in the main village
- one in the farming village
- two on the south road from the main village to the inn, east of the farming village
- one where the road to the southern cave branches off
- another where the road to Royal huntsman's camp branches off
- one at the crossroads near the crypt
