Fabian Hale was a man from the Hale family and a prominent member of the Vigilantes.[1]
Biography[]
Early life[]
Fabian was born in a far-off corner of the Nilfgaardian Empire and together with his mother and brother eventually moved to the Northern Kingdoms.
Witch Hunts[]
Some 300 years before the Witch hunts of 1272 to 1276, under the leadership of his mother, he and his brother tallied up an impressive number of successful hunts, keeping count with a tattoo for each kill. What the peasants from the villages didn't know was that the people accused of witchcraft were actually innocent. His mother often tasked him with spreading rumors and sowing seeds of doubt. Sometimes even stage the occasional crime. He did this gladly for he had an insatiable thirst for violent desires. Many of the women accused of being a witch would often vanish before they ever made it to the pyre, falling victim to his savage desires.[1]
Eventually the sorceress Alissa Henson put a stop to the family's schemes.
