Ffion var Gaernel was a officer within the Ard Feainn, a cavalry division within Nilfgaardian Army. In March 1268 he took part in the Battle of Brenna, where he charged against the Mahakam Volunteer Army.
He apparently approved to choose Lamarr Flaut for the reconnaissance mission.[1]
