For Better or Worse is a secondary quest in Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
Walkthrough[]
Head to the Carduus Fields, a hamlet in southern Lyria. There you will find a wedding ceremony in progress, and you have the option to join in. Say yes to both invitations and the bride will be kidnapped by a group of bandits.
Head northeast to a wooden bridge where you will come across the bandits holding the bride. Talking to them will start the Abducted battle, which after completing, will reveal the bride never wished to marry the groom, as the marriage was arranged by their parents, and she was secretly in love with another. Meve had the option to send the girl back to her wedding or let her flee with her true love. After the decision was made, the quest concludes.
