Frying pan is a quest item in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
In 1272, if Geralt helps the old gran in White Orchard with retrieving her old soot-covered pan, he will find it, but now completely spotless. It turns out the mysterious man that borrowed it wanted her pan for the soot to make ink. Geralt can then give the pan back to the old woman.
