The Pacifiers were a famous group of mercenaries from the Nilfgaardian province of Gemmera, sent by Emhyr var Emreis, the emperor of Nilfgaard, to suppress the uprisings in the new conquests of the Empire.[1]
History
In 1265, they were deployed for the suppression of the rebellions in Ebbing, Geso and Maecht. Specifically, Thurn, a city in north Maecht, they sacked and burned to the ground.[1]
