The Pacifiers were a famous group of mercenaries from the Nilfgaardian province of Gemmera, sent by Emhyr var Emreis, the Emperor of Nilfgaard, to suppress the uprisings in the new conquests of the Empire.
Members of the group were said to rape women just in front of their families. Such practice was often used during the suppression of the uprisings in Ebbing, Geso and Maecht.
