The Giancardis are a family of dwarven bankers affiliated with Giancardi Banks. They have several branches in the North and are considered among the best bankers on the Continent.[1]

Pogrom in Vengerberg[]
In the early 13th century, a pogrom erupted against nonhumans in the city of Vengerberg. The sorceress Yennefer intervened and was able to save the family from certain death; afterwards they left the city.[1]
