Glevitzingen is a frontier fort in Dol Angra.[1]
History[]
Second Northern War[]
In June 1267, the attack on the fort by King Demavend's troops became a pretext for the Nilfgaardian's attack on Lyria and Aedirn, precipitating the Second Northern War.[1]
Trivia[]
- The name Glevitzingen is most likely a reference to the Polish town of Gliwice (German: Gleiwitz). The false flag attack on Gliwice by German SS troops served as the pretext for the German invasion of Poland.
