Gwent: Playing Thaler is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Bernard Dukat, a.k.a. Thaler, was a truly great gwent player. What makes a gwent player great, you ask? Equal parts cunning and good cards, I reply. These last Geralt wanted for himself, for he felt his own collection was somewhat lacking.

As you might have guessed, Geralt managed to acquire Thaler's best card.

Prerequisites

Find Thaler by completing A Deadly Plot
Unlock the option to play him by beating Zoltan and Roche in Gwent: Old Pals (you will still get it even if Old Pals has already been completed)

Objectives

Win a unique card from Thaler.
