Gwent has a number of special cards that have unique abilities.

Berserker cards

Transforms into a bear when a Mardroeme card is on its row.

Commander's horn cards

These cards double the strength of the selected row (except if another commander's horn is already being used on the row).

These cards trigger the transformation of all Berserker cards on the same row.

Scorch cards

These cards will kill the strongest card(s) on the battlefield, regardless of who played the card. They're immediately discarded after use.

Summon avenger cards

When these cards are removed from the battlefield, they will summon a powerful card in its place at the start of the next round.
