Hannu or Hann[1] is a half-mythical land lying to the south of Nilfgaardian Empire along with Ofir, Zangvebar, and Barsa.[2] Yennefer once mentioned the land while describing her powers.[3]
Trivia[]
- The name of the land is probably inspired by Hannu, an ancient Egyptian noble and traveler. During one of his travels, the traveler visited Ophir - the land of King Solomon's Mines, which name was an inspiration for another oversea country.
- Another possible inspiration could be a Finnish first name.
