Hardened leather is a crafting component that can be dismantled into cured leather and oil. It is needed to craft many items, most of which are armors.
Crafting Requirements 
It can be found as random loot throughout the entire game, guaranteed loot in many places in Toussaint, or purchased from the following merchants:

- Armors and weapons merchants in Nilfgaardian Army Group 'Center' Camp
- Merchant in the boatyard south of Refugees' Camp
