Hawkesburn is a village in Lyria.
History[]
At the beginning of the Second Northern War, tax collectors were stationed here, to help pay for the war effort.
In 1267, a gang of bandits known as the Strays of Spalla attacked the village and stole all the gold from the collectors' office. A little while later, Meve, queen of Lyria and Rivia, came through the village tracking the bandits, and rounded up the local peasants, desperate for answers. She talked to Helmer, one of the locals, and discovered the bandits were kind enough to the residents, and discovered they had gone to Lord Clayton's residence. Meve then had the choice whether to whip the locals, press the men into service in her army, or set them all free.
