Hemminks was a witcher from the School of the Wolf and trained under Vesemir.[1]
Biography[]
Hemminks was a witcher of the School of the Wolf. One day, during a training session alongside Geralt, Gweld, and Gwen, they were tasked with blocking incoming crossbow bolts as part of their swordsmanship training. While Hemminks and Gwen both failed to block the bolts, Hemminks was sent to the infirmary for treatment.
Hemminks later participated in the Witcher Tournament. Prior to the tournament, the Wolf School witchers underwent the Trial of Forest Eyes, during which all except Geralt cheated by removing their blindfolds. As punishment, Vesemir hung them upside down by their ankles.
On the day of the tournament, Hemminks was paired against fellow Wolf witcher Gardis. However, the Cat School witchers sprang their trap under orders from the royal astrologer, Astrogarus. In a turn of events, King Radowit II betrayed the Cat witchers and ordered the execution of all witchers present. Hemminks died alongside the others, with Geralt being the only survivor.[1]
