Hen Gàidh (Elder Speech: Old Garden) is a cave on the southern part of Seidhe Llygad in Toussaint and is the home to an unseen elder, a very powerful vampire.
The cave is normally only accessible during What Lies Unseen but you can enter freely on your own if you got the magic key from Orianna even if you chose to do the The Night of Long Fangs quest at the end of the Blood Simple quest, however the elder will kill you if you venture too deep on your own.
History[]
This location was one of the areas that opened to other realms during the Conjunction of the Spheres and several vampires ended up in this realm. While the portal closed with no way to re-open it, the area remained susceptible to the opening between worlds, causing weird occurrences to happen, like reversed gravity and rivers to flow upwards. The Unseen Elder made this cave his home as, every now and then, he caught a scent of his native realm when the magic weakened once in awhile.
