Biography[]
Battle of Sodden[]
When the Nilfgaardian army sets out to cross the Yaruga at Sodden, Tissaia asks Kings Henselt and Foltest for support. However, the Kaedwenian and Temerian troops only arrive when the battle is already in full swing, so the 22 mages in Tissaia's group initially have to manage the defense alone. The northern troops defeat the remaining Nilfgaardians, but 5,000 men decimate Henselt's army.
After the battle, Henselt and several other northern kings are invited to a memorial service in honor of the fallen. The Brotherhood of Sorcerers plans to have the sorceress Yennefer execute the prisoner of war Cahir in front of the monarchs. Henselt watches as Yennefer helps the Nilfgaardian escape.
Meeting of Kings[]
Tissaia gathers kings Henselt, Foltest, Meve, Ethain, and Demavend to inform them that the princess of Cintra, Ciri, is alive.
The colloquy of the Northern rulers[]
A colloquy between King Henselt and his fellow Northern rulers, King Radovid, Queen Meve, King Foltest, and King Demavend is held to discuss the incoming Nilfgaardian forces invading their countries.
Ultimately, the group decides on a battle plan.
