Horst Yensen was a mage from Ard Carraigh who, sometime prior to the Second Nilfgaard War, worked for the Kaedweni army. He promised enchanted amulets but failed to supply them on time and risked execution. Triss Merigold, however, helped him with finishing the amulets and even gone to Oxenfurt to secure diplomatic immunity for Horst, in case that something went wrong. The amulets were delivered just in time to spare Horst his life, though payment was denied.
