Ihuarraquax was a pure white unicorn and friend of Ciri.[1]
Biography[]
Korath desert[]
In early July 1267, while still really a colt in the Korath desert, Ihuarraquax came upon Ciri dying on the hot sand. He carried her to refuge and helped find water from a little spring, after which she named him "Little Horse". He saved her after they were attacked by a sand monster, however, Ihuarraquax was injured during the fight; two of the creature's venomous claws had scratched his leg, which quickly infected over the next day due to him refusing Ciri's aid. When he eventually couldn't longer walk, Ciri saved him by using the Force found in the element of fire, something Yennefer had expressly forbidden her to do.
Exerting that energy knocked Ciri unconcisous, and while she slept, Ihuarraquax discussed her fate with his fellow unicorns: deciding for her sympathy she should live, however dangerous her power, and then he left the girl.[1]
Later aid[]
In 1268, Ciri was reunited with a now fully grown Ihuarraquax, though she continued to call him Little Horse. He helped her escape the clutches of Eredin and the Dearg Ruadhri. The unicorn appeared also after Geralt and Yennefer's death, helping Ciri to heal/resurrect her adoptive parents and transport them to Malus Island.[2]
