Like in many others countries of the Continent, even the Nilfgaardian Empire owns a Magic Academy where mages are taught. Emhyr var Emreis, Imperator of Nilfgaard, hired many mages in his court from this school. While the academy is located near Loc Grim, another academy is located in Vicovaro.

Notes

• The location of this school is never specified in the current edition of novels. Fans from Andrzej Sapkowski's official website who worked on list of locations from novels wrote that it was located in Loc Grim, but while the current edition does indeed mention both the Academy and Loc Grim in one page, it isn't stated precisely that it's located here.
  • In the Wiedźmin: Gra Wyobraźni it is however clearly stated that the Academy is located in the aforementioned city.
