Ingma was a hunter and fur trader who lived with her daughter Berit in the forests of Ekerot's isle sometime in the 13th century.[1]
Biography[]
She was a keen hunter, though was cruel; Ingma would capture the older wolves and snare them together, starving the creatures until they had no option except to kill each other to eat. At some point, her and her daughter happened upon the witcher Geralt of Rivia being attacked by a pack of wolves on the shores of the isle while hunting. As Ingma was hunting the beasts regardless for their pelts, she shot them with her bow and carried the witcher to refuge in their family home.
After cauterising his wounds and preparing food, Ingma in the morning sent Berit on horseback to inform Jarl Ekerot of the witcher's arrival and sat down with Geralt for a meal. As she mentioned the guerrilla gang formed in the local woods, to which Geralt mentioned he'd seen a masked possible accomplice on the way, Ingma became startled, yelling they were being watched. As she instructed the witcher to grab his sword to protect them from a possible attack, she was shot through the back of the throat by one of the guerrilla fighters; one of Colm Coimeádaí's men.[1]
